Meet Dr. Charles Park
Periodontal Surgeon in Vancouver, BC
Raised in Vancouver, I attended the University of British Columbia where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology and graduated with honors. In 2012, I relocated to Toronto to complete a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, graduating with distinction.
Shortly thereafter, I pursued a hospital dental residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, where I expanded my knowledge in various aspects of dentistry, with my focus on treating medically compromised patients, and those with special needs and providing emergency dental treatment in the ER.
After working for several years as a general dentist, I developed a strong passion for Periodontology and knew I wanted to do further training.
I returned to the University of Toronto to pursue my specialty training and I became a part-time clinical instructor at the University. In addition to my clinical training, my research focused on improving the adaptation and structural integrity of the soft tissue seal around teeth and dental implants.
I am a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and a member of The British Columbia Society of Periodontists and The British Columbia Society of Dental Specialists.
I feel extremely lucky to have the opportunity to improve the overall health of our patients whose Periodontal disease or life circumstances have compromised.
I enjoy spending time with my family, downhill skiing, photography, traveling, food, and wine and I am very fortunate to call Vancouver my home.
